The Missouri Laborers’ Legislative Committee (MLLC) represents the political needs of nearly 14,000 Missouri Laborers' Union members and ensures the membership has a voice in Missouri state government and Washington D.C. The MLLC works to protect and strengthen workers rights through the legislative process; MLLC also works to help elect legislators who share the views of Missouri Laborers and our signatory contractors.
The Missouri Laborers’ Legislative Committee (MLLC) is a seven member board with three members from the Eastern Missouri Laborers’ District Council, three members from the Western Missouri and Kansas Laborers’ District Council and the Director of Legislative and Governmental Affairs. These seven members collaborate and discuss legislative priorities and candidates running for elected office.
The MLLC, as a statewide clearinghouse for legislative and political decisions, ensures that the Laborers’ Union and its Missouri membership has continuity and support for its decisions from all four corners of the state.
